JACK SELLS TO BOB
Local Gadfly to keep playing anything
(Redding, California) In a statement released yesterday, Jack announced he had accepted an offer for a "job in Idaho" and had made "the hardest decision in my life" to leave Redding. Jack also stated that he had arranged to transfer his station to his friend and local gadfly Bob.
Bob is known to his friends and family as a long time music fanatic. Bob says "I want to thank my friend Jack for leaving behind a great collection of music. I will endeavor to bring Redding listeners what they've come to know and love about 107.1 FM. We will continue to play anything. We will play 80's, 90's, whatever. We will take it to a whole new level".
Bob does not anticipate any layoffs, however he also will not add any stupid DJ's. Bob will be investing in additions of even more music, and contests and promotions.
Bob is a long time resident of Redding, a Shasta High graduate of the class of 1978. He attended Shasta College and later transfered to Sacramento State. Returning to Redding in the 1980's, Bob caught on with several large construction projects and later made investments that realized a small fortune for the entrepreneur.
"It's a dream come true. I love music and now I get to play anything on my own station in my hometown Redding. I'm happy", said Bob.
FAQ'S FOR CLUB JACK MEMBERS
Q: Are my Jack Credits still good?
A: Yes! The currency is changing to Bob Bucks. But you lose nothing, and in fact, Bob is going to give you a bonus in the coming week. Keep an eye out for the next email from us.
Q: Do you still have the Phrase that Pays?
A: Yes! It is on hiatus only while Bob finishes unloading more crates of music, and hangs some posters up to redecorate. Listen for the contests to resume later next week.
Q: How do I reach you if I have any questions?
A: Bob has retained Jack's staff including Rick and webmaster Matthew. They told Bob that they weren't sure if anyone really wanted to talk to them, but Bob said they should have higher self-esteem. So let's see what happens.
